Oh, right on. Were you at Barnwell a few months back? There was a pathfinder there and hardbody... the hard body was black and had a pretty big lift on it..

I remember everyone's face but I can't really seem to remember the names.

I was there with my Freind in his red Jeep. That was his first time offroad. That was only my 3rd time to Barnwell.

I just finished my SAS on My 93 Truck just like the Black one of Dans.

I will be there for the DX event!

Right on! The truck looks good. I'm not going to be making it out to Barnwell for a long time probably as I'm moving to Colorado in September... I have to pack and start getting everything together.. so I don't have much time for fun.

Looks like you're ready for the 3 diamond trails.

I'm fairly new to the forum and currently own a 2000 Frontier King (4cyl/auito) and a 2006 Frontier King (V6/man).  My first Nissan was an 87 HB King.  That was one damn tough truck.  I drove it for 11 years and put 250K hard miles on it.  I didn't know an auto trans would last that long and still shift smoothly.  That truck never had any engine or trans work done on it...it just kept on truckin'.  I think I adjusted the valves one time and never had to have the front end aligned and I never replaced the timing chain.  All I ever did was replace the fan belt and plug wires once and put brakes on it about 3 times I think.

But, it's all in the maintenance, which I did myself.  I changed my oil and filter every 5000 miles and the trans fluid every 40K-50K miles.  The fluids are the life of a vehicle.  However, I never changed the differential oil.  I finally donated the truck to a charitable organization and it still ran fine except that it needed a tuneup.  And, it still didn't use any oil between changes.  It was starting to leak a few drops from the rear main seal though.

I sure got my money's worth out of that vehicle and it made me a hard core Nissan fan.

The 87 was the birth of a classic.

nissannut;

... You can say that again! My little '76 Datsun was sweet and I drove it 16 years. My 95 4x4 V-6 HB had zero problems but I like the frontier and traded it in on one. Here's a PIC from 1996:

Have a good one  and  CUL.. Don S..
