I have 2 15 inch MTX audio subs (got rid of the other 2, regret that now!)
behind the front seats hooked up to 2 MTX audio amps under the
enclosure. For mid and hi, I went with infinity 6.5 inch in the rear doors
and 6 x 9 inch in the front doors and tweeters on the dash. The Alpine W
205 makes it all sound great!

I have a 2011 Frontier King cab, it does not have the Fosgate sytem. I was looking for the tweeter wires, I have felt around in the speaker hole on both sides with no luck. Can any one tell me where they are located.

Well I am going to anserw my own question for those of you that may be wanting to know as well. I do not believe the wires are present without the Fosgate system but I found the front door speakers wires in the kick panels. On the right side they are in the second plug from the bottom. On the speaker side (the part running in to the door) of the plug they -bl/blk & +wht/blk but they are easier to get to on the other side of the plug but they are different colors -green & +red. On the left side they are in the brown plug, speaker side they are -bl/red & +bl/wht. Again they are easier to get to on the other side of the plug and they are -brn & +bl. Use some scotch locks or T-taps, use a coat hanger or something to else to pull the wire up through the speaker holes. I installed some Boss tweeters and it reeally help brighten up the sound with just the factory speakers.

According to Crutchfield all body styles of the 03's were 5 1/4 speakers in the front doors and 4" in the rear doors if it's a crew cab.

Hello,
I have a 2000 Fronti Crew Cab, the rear speakers are only 1
inch thick, to accommodate the window rail.

The speaker itself is 4", but is mounted on a plate that
makes it 5.25".

I have reached out to Nissan, Clarion, and a lot of other
sites, and no one has a speaker that thin.

Any suggestions? or is there a site/place that re furbishes
speakers?

Thank you so much,

Mario

..

I've had speakers re-coned in Ft. Worth.
Seems like Indy city should have a place to do it.

Hope you get it fixed.. Don S..
