I too have been trying to find wheels for my 05 Frontier.  I have found no one who carries anything that will fit.  I even asked the dealership and they did not have anything.  I was told that I could upgrade to a 20" tire and get some options but this is not something that I want to do.  I keep watching Discount Tire but they still don't have anything (as many of us have discovered).

I think this is my only complaint on the 05 model.

From what I saw, the 05 and the 02s have the same lug pattern and size.  But that's still small on options.

I guess the contraversy behind it all is the older ones had a pattern of 6x139.  The new ones have a pattern of 6x139.7.  That makes the spacing a little farther out.

I went by another tire company today and the same thing...no wheels have been made to fit the new 2005 Frontier yet.   Guy said they have had several inquiries.   Looks like everyone wants to give their truck the edge...I know I sure do!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK  Heres the deal so far......The 05 frontiers and 05 pathfinders have the same bolt pattern as the pre 04 dodge durangos, and pre 05 dakotas.  I Know because I have the 17 inch chrome dakota r/t rims on my frontier now....the only problem is the back spacing is diffrent and so I had to put a 1 inch spacer on the front to clear the brake calipers, looks nice too.

The bolt pattern is 6 x 114.3(4.5"). Discount Tire Direct has a decent selection and I found some on Centerline Wheels site with the right pattern. Caliper clearance is definatley going to be an issue.

I bought a set of 20" Chrome wheels from www.4x4accessoriesandtyres.com these are posted on their site. Go into products and then choose the D40 pickup (European name) $2300.00 for the set. Airfreight delivery circa $300.00 The wheel is called the invincible.
