I just checked where the bike would sit in the bed and the back wheel would be approx. 6" out onto the tailgate. The bike weighs about 750 lbs or so but of course that weight would be dispersed between the 2 wheels so I'm thinking half that weight would be on the tailgate. From reading what's been written so far I'm having a concern about the hinges supporting it. Should I be concerned? Thanks.

Is that the end of your rear tire or the contact patch?  If it is the contact patch, then yeah, I'd be a little worried too.

I have taken my tailgate off on several occassions for heavier objects because I just don't trust the design.  I don't think any of the minitrucks are any better.

Yes, that was the contact patch. Looking at it I think I can make it fit if I put it in there kitty corner. That might work although the tailgate would still be down.

My advice would be to take the hinges off the truck and off the tailgate, weld around the cups on the truck mounted part and around the pins that stick out from the tailgate, splash some paint on the an put them back on.  If you break the hinges after all that, you will have broken a lot more stuff anyways.

Put a poece of 1/2" plywood in the bed and out over the laid down tailgate to haul your rig.
