I've had some mean wear going on my front passanger tire for a while. I took it in to get aligned but the guy told me that I had a bad control arm bushing. He told me he had it on the lift and could feel looseness in the arms when he would shake the tire. I got home and pulled the tire off to see where the bushing is and if I could tell if it was bad but while looking I seen my lower ball joint looks very rough like the boot around it is falling apart. So what i'm asking is should I change the lower ball joint or the control arm bushing? Or how to even tell which one it would be thats bad. Thanks for the help!

Get a huge crowbar and pry to see what moves. If
there is water or dirt in the ball joint I’d replace even
if it is not loose.

Good Luck.. Don S..
