I have a 2003 Nissan Frontier and my A/C stopped blowing cold a couple
of weeks ago. Today I went to an Auto Parts store and purchased an A/C
Recharge Kit with R134 Refrigerant. When I hooked up the gauge to my
A/C it already showed 50 PSI on the gauge, which is on the high end of
where it should be at I believe. So I think I just wasted $40 bucks on this
recharge kit I can hear the compressor kick on and off all the time,
but the air is never cold..
Has anyone else had a similar issue with their Nissan A/C? I am sure this
issue could be a number of different things, but wondering if this might
be something I can do myself. If not I will end up taking it in to a
professional (unfortunately).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Also, the guy at the auto parts store said it could possibly be that I need to
change my In Cabin Air Filter. I have never changed one of these, but
figured I would see if you all thought that this could possibly be my issue.

Possible thermo control amp, best to have the system
checked by a professional. Cabin filter will restrict air
flow if plugged.
