Hello, about 2 weeks ago, I drained and replace the transfer case oil. I did this on a level surface and filled the case until oil started to run down the side, and then put the cap on. I parked on a level street each night and used to truck to go back and forth to work for the next two weeks. My commute has no major hills.

I parked in my driveway last night which is uphill, the front of the truck being the high point. I saw small puddle of fluid below the transfer case, the next morning, but could not see where it ran down the transfer case. Is there some sort of overflow run off or a vent? The puddle is about the size of 9 quarters if I were to stack them in a 3X3 square.

Truck has 68K and runs great!

Are you sure you did not miss-place the aluminum
washer/seal for the fill or drain plug? Also check for
seepage @ the drive shaft seal(front and rear).

Just to follow up, turns out there was seepage at the drain plug, I snugged it up a bit and viola!
