i have a 2010 v6 4wd crew cab and have had no problems with it so far 43k on it. I had to switch into 4wd due to snow and now it will not return to 2wd. the digital display also has disappeared. I can turn the selector switch and nothing changes. Any clue to were to start looking?

I have a 2011 and had this exact problem 2 weeks ago and posted about it here called free advice.

Look at the 2 under the hood fuse boxes. The cigarette lighter plug in mine had a 20A fuse that is under the hood and not in the cabin and it affected the 4WD. Strangest combination of circuits I can think of.

Hope that helps.

Well I guess I moved to soon. Got in the truck tonight and it seems to be fixed. Digital display is back and it is out of 4wd. Any clue to why this happened? We did have a huge snow storm last week with 1' of snow and it has been really cold. The truck usually sits in my driveway since I have a van provided by the company I work for, thus the 43000 miles on a 2010 model.

I will look up your posts. I know MFGs love to mix systems. I know my wife's Honda Fit has a light/transmission circuit. Makes you pull out your hair trying to trace stuff out.

Might want to have your battery checked, low voltage will
do strange things. I have seen the displays disappear due
to low voltage.
