I think it would be good if you went ahead and got the New Colorado Diesel, to/and let us know how it is holding up after after about 100K mile's;  Rather than waiting to see if Nissan will come out with a Diesel Frontier in about a year or so.

@ 31K $'s MSRP configured in Extended Cab, AT, 2WD, with Diesel Duramax,  30 MPG open road, and 7700 Max Tow,  Sound's pretty competitive to me.

However I expect Nissan to come out with something a Wee Bit Better and a little bit less money, if they can, or they may not offer a Diesel at all if they can't.  Just My Opinion.

The Truck Market is Fiercly Competitive Now, with more people buying Truck's than Car's.

Also be sure to call Nissan Consumer Affair's to see which VPP Loyalty Discount they will give you on a Brand New Truck,, and if it were me,,, I would see how much that will bring down the price on a Full Size Titan Diesel as well.

Good Luck and let us know what you decided to do.
