I just bought a 2016 SV crew cab with the standard length bed. It came without any bedliner and I saw a Bedrug on craigslist - it's from a 2005 (same setup - crew cab, standard bed). I know the truck design has changed very little from 2005 to 2016, but are the beds exactly the same? I know they are close, but with a pre-form bedliner, it would have to be identical.
Also - it appears the bedrug is attached with Velcro strips and I'm assuming the one I'm thinking about buying has already been used. Are these just standard Velcro straps that I could get anywhere (like Home Depot) or are they specialized somehow.
