Got a rather loud clicking sound, that seems to be coming from underneath the floor boards. This loud clicking sound is when I turn the engine off and am thinking it is the fuel pump. Other cars/trucks I have owned have a similar but softer sound and that clicking is rather fast. The sound I hear now is much slower clicking sound and is louder. Any help would be appreciated.

I've never had a fuel pump issue with any of our seven Nissans.
A lot of internal tank fuel pumps use rotors and don't click.
Press a long screw driver between your ear and the tank to hear if that's where the noise is coming from...
Good Luck.. Don S..

Possibly it is the sound of the exhaust cooling down?

Heater actuator gear. It has something to do w/ open and closing the heater flow. Most posts show you have to take the dash off to get to the part. Will let you know later when I get time to fix it.
