ok so I just bought an 03 S/C frontier with a bad engine. Availability of the "exact" blower engine is sparse and very expensive. Is there any difference in the non inducted engine that would keep me from swapping my blower, intake etc over to it and run with out issues? I can buy an xterra or frontier with a naturaly asperated 3.3 at copart cheap and pull the engine for almost free when its all said and done. Dont want to do it all for nothing though. Please help.

As far as I know, they are the same. What is wrong with
the 03 engine?

It broke timing belt. I'm going to try to put a belt on and check compression but my luck.......Looking at remans there is a difference in price. I'm wondering if compression etc is different.

Broke timing belt is no reason to replace engine, they
say they are interference, but I have replaced many
broken belts w/ no issues.

I'm going to check it first to see if they collided but I can get a relacement non S/C engine rather inexpensive. I just wanted to know for sure before I find out the hard way
