Hi, my Fronty just turned 100K! All is good, only had to replace battery, tires
and radiator. I added a back up camera and a receiver. Still getting 21-22
mpg, as my commute is mostly highway. I have no complaints on this truck, I
am hearing soon we will have a Cummins diesel option.

I do have a transmission question (AT).
When coming to a sudden stop, like if someone where to slam on their brakes
in front of you and you are doing 45-50 mph.... I feel the truck downshifting,
and the tach bounces up about 500-600 RPM's while I am slowing down. It
feels like a bit of a tranny jerk, but not sure. Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks,
David

Congrats on getting to 100K with no problem's.

Lot's of speculation's on what Nissan may or may not do in the Future with the Frontier.  Right now the Frontier's are selling good with an increase in sale's over previous year's.  Right now,, the Frontier is probably the best midsize Truck for the money.

On the Transmission,, I haven't had to make a Panic stop with mine yet.  I try to provide lot's of extra space between me and the vehicle ahead, because they usually don't follow the vehicle ahead of them with enough space.

I would check the AT Fluid level useing the correct method as described in the Service Manual.  If you need guideance on how to check the AT Fluid Level,, just ask, and I can tell you how I check mine.

Good Luck
