A friend of mine who is a Lexus tech.brought by his scan tool.Unfortunately it is lacking a special (this model Nissan)pigtail that is required to plug into an outlet at the interior fuse panel along with the OBD II plug as well. He's going to get one ordered. In the meantime,it's got him stumped as well.I ordered a map and a maf.Getting to my wit's end as I am not very versed in EFI .If there are any more checks to be made please do tell.

The 18.95$ MAF I ordered "just in case" arrived today and I am happy to report that truck is up and running.

NICE. I am sure the Nissan MAF is a lot more, also more
reliable. Do you have any scrap yards that allow you to
pull your own parts, maybe get a MAF from the scrap
yard.

At that price I ordered another for a spare.MAP sensor came yesterday (it is an Intermotor brand) and was a bit more $.Runs great, however off acceleration idle takes it's time to slow down, sometimes want's to hunt. The only scrap yard around here that has some 98 or so Frontiers told me they don't sell emission stuff, and acted like they GAF,and at another yard he's got a couple of like year Exteras but they're v 6"s.....
