To All;
Good morning. I just purchased a 2016 Frontier SV and
it did not come with fog lights. The salesperson told
me it should be pre-wired for them.

How do I check this? I see the blank spot on my left
lower dash where the switch would go.

Look for wires tied up underneath the
headlights.

Yes, the wires are zip tied together with the headlight wire cluster.
While there is a blank space in the dash, if you purchase from Nissan
the factory headlight stalk that is set up to switch on Nissan lights. I
purchased an ARB bull bar and the fog light kit, just spliced them into
existing wire and my fogs work with the factory light stalk. I did however
use the blank for driving lights.... I hit two deer regardless and collected
a lot of hair....no damage. So that expensive bull bar paid for
itself....Currently I am cutting out two small silhouelettes to place them
on the drivers door.

I got a Red Tail Hawk at 70 mph. But that was My 1976 Wagoneer... It dented the metal grill slightly.

My Old Frontier is still a virgin... No dents, scratches, no wrecks, no hail, no cigarette smoke, no repairs
and gets over 22 mpg on the highway. It's done all the trails in the Colorado San Jaun Mountain many times. It will fit into a small parking place. It will out live me!

Have some good ones.. Don S..
