Hi
My 2016 Nissan Frontier Hesitates when accelerating,
when I give it gas it starts to accelerate then stops
accelerating for like 1 or 2 seconds then goes.

This is somewhat dangerous when pulling into traffic.

I have removed and cleaned the mas air flow censer
with mas air flow cleaner. this did not help.

Took it to a mechanic but they could not figure it
out, because they are nothing but code readers any
more, not real mechanics. without a code they know
nothing.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Geri

Geri,

If it were mine, I would take it to Nissan and let
them figure it out.

Regards,

In defense of technicians, it can be very difficult to
diagnose w/o a failure code. The dealer could drive the
vehicle w/ Consult in Data moniter mode, but if all is
operating w/in parameters, it is difficult to repair.
Check for the obvious, fuel quality, non-nissan air
filter, poor engine ground etc.
