I heard that... In the old days I'd crank the engine 30 seconds
before turning on the key switch. Later on my 1999 V-6 I used
Pennzoil synthetic 2 cycle outboard oil in the gasoline. two to
four oz per gallon. Its high temperature oil and a great upper lube. My truck is over
20 years old. I bought it new and it still starts and runs like new.
Surly the high RPM is adjustable in the computer.
