Now, I am not complaining about Nissan, but I sure as hell
wonder why they made the exhaust pipes from both cats
squeezed together to form one pipe. My new stainless pipe
eliminates the squeeze and just has a straight shot from
the cat to muffler and the other pipe from the cat enters a
curved elbow to the muffler. Certainly the new muffler and
pipes should eliminate some back pressure....I just thought
that this was a strange way to do it given the excellent
job of design with the rest of the truck.

I put the Dynomax "Y" pipe and VT muffler on my '08, a
noticeable difference( it sounds good also).
