An update on gas mileage.  Friend of mine and I drove from southast PA to Richmond VA yesterday and put a total of 470 miles on the 2007 V-6 SE crew cab auto at between 60-65 mph.  I used a total of 19.6 gallons of premium gas (which I always use) which works out to just shy of 24.6 mpg.  I was very pleased with this.  I might have broken 25 mpg but put about 10 miles of city driving on in Richmond itself.

Congrats!  Always good to hear stories like these.

I've been driving 65 on my commute home (all highway except last 4 miles) and am averaging 20.5.  That's not bad considering I'm in more of a "rush" on my way to work.

Not bad for big HP 6 cylinder, 4x4, LE Crew Cab extended bed.

My recent trip into the mountains got me 24 miles / imperial gallon, which is 19.6 miles / US gallon, taking it very easy all the way.  This is far better than my city mileage has been this winter, but still nothing to write home about IMO.   (I have an '07 CrewCab SE longbox.)
