Being a new dude to your community, I'm sure this is beating a dead horse but I hope a few of you will comply with a few replies.

I have an 02 with stock rims.  Nothing has been changed from the stock body or suspension.

I currently run BF Goodrich ATs.  I spend hunting season offroad, but nothing serious.  Well, all offroading is serious since you don't want to get stuck in budda all alone.  I have use the BFG ATs on other trucks and really like them since I usually get 50k out of them and they seem to do fine offroad.  However....

I have been eyeing more aggressive tread and specifically the BFG MTs.  The problem is they don't have the stock 265/70/16 in their sizing chart.

I am sure tons of you have upgraded the tires without altering the truck.  What would you guys recommend for decent road wear, good offroad rating, and killer looks without breaking a budget?  Also, can a different BGF MT size go on the stock rims without ripping the mud flaps off or rubbing?

Thanks.

..

mcfack;

I've heard that agressive tires wear agressively.

Over the last twenty-five years I've installed BFG at 31x10.50x15 on all six of my 4x4s, I'm down to two 4x4s at the minute. One reason I'm still driving my '76 Wagoneer and '99 Frontier is they came with 15" wheels. I am NOT buying low profile tires for off roading or any thing else.

The next time Nissan comes out with a new 4x4 with 15" wheels call me... I'll come take a look at it!

This thread should have been in the Frontier Off Road 4x2/4x4...

Have a good one and see you later… Don S..

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State .

A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem. Or drink all your beer! One took my wife!... J/K

they should make some 265/75/16s but i may be wrong. but alot of other companys make a 265/75/16 if bfg does not. you wont find a 70 series maybe thats the issue your running into

Hmm.  I would have thought someone would have put something else besides BFG ATs on their 16 inch rims.

BTW, posted in the other forum.
