what is the power band of the VG33E?

i have a 2000 nissan frontier crew cab V6-5speed 4x4.

just interested in when the V6 makes all of its power and torque?

ive noticed its dead after 4500.

also just dropped 1800 bucks in replacing the transmission. first gear went out, then the rest crapped out.

 I could only find ratings for the 2001 and newer but the 2001 V6 is rated at 170 @ 4800 rpms and 200 ft-lbs @ 2800 rpms
