Yet another quest for info -- I am not finding it easy to determine how the various truck caps - Leer, ARE and Century - actually LOOK on my truck. For example, the Leer caps appear to have a strange, segmented look because where the sides of the cap fit nearly against the sides of the truck's cab, there seems to be a visual gap. Like they molded them differently than the 100 model I had on my '00 Tacoma. which had a kind of wrap-around aspect that gave continuity.
Does anyone with an '11 or '12 Frontier with a cap have a picture of how it looks? I am considering both the basic level cap and the ones with the slight rise like the Leer 180, ARE MX and Century High C.
Many thanks for any help. I've been all over the manufacturers' websites and had phone conversations with dealers and have asked the place where I bought the truck to keep an eye out for Frontier customers who might let me see their truck caps. No luck so far. For example, Leer doesn't have pictures of their caps on '12s, just '10s.

I've uploaded pictures to my member gallery (see link to
left of post). This cap was installed yesterday
(2/27/2012).
ARE MX on 2012 Frontier King Cab, with optional glass win-
doors and Yakima rack system.
Note the curvature at the back of the cab.
Note also that the cap extends over the top of the bed.

I thought you could go to respective websites for the cap manufacturers and you can put use their site to see what the shell looks like on a Frontier?
Maybe not?

The websites don't all include the Frontier (or some show a
Dakota, not a Frontier), and you can't really see the
details (a rather generic cap is used). I used the chat
function on the 4are website to ask specific questions.

@ davidjbrady, tried that but pics not adequate - both because the older style Frontiers are shown or insufficient detail.
@vjmvjm, thanks for that suggestion and thanks for those photos which REALLY show me what I want to know.
Would love pics showing Leer 180 and/or Century High C on '11 or '12 Frontier. It is hard to put what I'm looking for into words and the photos really show it.
Thanks, thanks.
