So I need a pickup, I hate not having a truck for all
my home projects, my E55 doesn't cut it as a work
truck. Also thinking of getting a small boat again.
So found an 07 V6, SE, CC, MT, 2WD, 171K mi.
It is very clean was shocked it had as many miles as
it has.
it runs great, did a compression test on all 6 cyl
high was 184psi, low was 180psi. So it seems it must
have been maintained really well. questions I have are
what else to look at, as I am new to Nissans. I read
about the timing chain, I didn't hear any issues with
the chain. at 171K I am guessing it probably had the
guides replaced. are they prone to fail again once
replaced or did they come up with a better design?
Also is $8k a fair price? Manual Trans Crew Cabs are
hard to come by, especially 2WD.

..
New or used buying a vehicle is a gamble.
If it's really good the price isn't to bad.
These days the automatics trannies seem to give less problems in most makes and models.
After 50 years of driving I no longer leave home without an automatic..
Good luck.. Don S..
