Hey so does anybody by chance have a list of what the wires are for a 2000 frontier because i wanna hardwire my fog-lights because the person who had this truck before me just put it into the damn fuse box, urg.

On another note id just liek to share i was happy to get my JL Audio 500/1 amp for 250$ out the door, BUT my f**king pioneer cd player keeps making this poping noise through the speakers that shuts it down, arg! So now i gotta go buy a new f'in cd player too.  Oh well it will be worth it with that amp. :-D

Myles....I had the same problem with an amp long time ago.  Are running beefed up speakers to go along with that amp? I had to turn the gain down on my amp to get the right sound without all of the popping. Sometimes it is a combination of speakers, too small wires, wrong ohms on speakers, or in one of my other cases a bad, brand new amp.

Check your connections for the RCA cables.  Also, if you have your gain turned up too high, it'll cause it to overheat, and shut down temporarly.  The best MAX setting is half of the gain level.

Also, what size wire you running for everything?

For your other problem... did the truck originaly come with foglights?  If not, you just might have to rewire the lights.

Your radio is giving a signal to amplify and a remote wire to allow it to use the power and ground on the amp.  Your problem lies between the amp and the subs.  Sounds like you need to trouble shoot between those two.  Make sure the ohm load that you are presenting to the amp is 1.5 - 4. And make sure you are using 4 guage power or lower.  The 500/1 will put the same voltage out at any ohm load between 1.5 - 4.  It read the ohm load and if it not between 1.5-4 it will automatically shut down.  Sounds like you have 2 dual 4ohm voice coil subs and you have them parrelled not series to the amp, presenting a 1 ohm load not a 4 ohm load.  If you need any help give me specs on speakers and I can help.
