I had a 05 Frontier and the left turn signal didn't work. Now I have an 08 Frontier CC 4X4 and there are no running lights to the trailer. Brake lights work, turn signals work but no tail lights. Is this a common problem and what is the fix? I've checked all the fuses I can find.

I have an appointment with the dealer to "find" the problem, I ask if it's covered by the warranty. He say's uhhhhh, it depends on what we find. This doesn't sound right.

This is because you don't have the relays for the running lights.  This is part of the "towing package" from the dealer.  The kit cost's about $80 plus however much the dealer decides to charge you to put in.  Just like everything else, it's just another way for them to scam us.  I have already fought this issue and got nowhere.  Just run a hot wire (with a fuse, of course) to the brown wire in the adapter you bought.  This is what I did and it works fine.  Keep in mind, if you don't put a switch in it, your trailer lights will always be on  unless you unplug it.   Good luck.  Oh, I'm asssuming your truck didn't come with a towing package.  If it did, than this is part of it and you actually have a problem.
