I have a 05 crew cab nismo and I have changed out the oem headlights for some of the brighter ones and they are great. I would like to do the same with the fog lights but change the color to yellow. Dose anyone make replacement bulbs in colors?
Thanks

IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND A COLORED BULB FOR THE FOGLIGHTS, I LOOKED FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS BEFORE I FOUND SOME. I ENDED UP BUYING REAL HID LIGHTS NOT THE FAKE ONES FROM AUTOZONE

Please note, the rules state no CAP-LOCKS!  But what the hey! it's the holidaze.   lakota

i bought HID kits from e-bay. 3500k is more of a yellow you'd want for fog lamps. I bought both of mine for the headlight and fog lamps in 10000k....the sweet blue light and they work great

Someone can maybe educate me on bulbs... I just bought a set of fog lights for my 04 off of ebay, from a no-name company called K2motors.  The package includes the plug and play wiring, switch and relay... for $45 you get what you pay for but I don't have any lights now so thought it would dress it up.  The package says I will have H3 bulbs... Like I said before, I was going for the dressed up look...

Is there a brighter bulb I could be using for lots more light?  If I can make them useful, then all the better.  I had some really ugly driving lights years ago on my old Dodge truck that you could sunbath in front of, and were just fantastic on the highway at night.  In modern days, the factory driving lights don't seem to do much other than dress it up.... any recommendations and caveats would be appreciated....

I got the lights in the mail last week, complete with wiring harness, relay, switch... but no installation instructions.  Sadly, I've sent 4 messages over the last week to K2Motors on ebay and they just don't respond... I don't suppose anyone else has purchased lights from them and would have instructions?... I'm suspecting that, with a red wire and a black wire, that I could run power directly from the battery (red) and to a ground point (black), but I was under the impression that they somehow have to be wired to the high beam power in order to deactivate?? when high beams are on?... something like that?... I'm good with wrenches but not with electrical...

for fog lights on the 05 + frontier if i recall when the highbeams come on it kills the power to the fog lamps so all you'd have to do is use the harness that feeds the fog lamps.

I'm not quite following what you are saying, other than yes the fog lamp harness would have to be wired in some way to the switching of the high beams... The question is how exactly to do it...

... would you believe that since I last posted, I was able to determine that this wonderful kit from K2Motors does not include instructions on purpose?  They do not supply instructions.  Why?  So that you don't try to do it yourself.  Which if you follow my thinking seems pretty silly for people buying from an online or ebay store... cuz that's exactly why we'd buy it instead of going to a local store or dealership to purchase such an item.  ??? I guess it's just me???

Anyway, I have a black wire and a red wire, and the red wire has an inline fuse, and there is a relay connected into the supplied wiring harness.  I know that if I were to just run power to the red wire and ground the black wire that the whole system should work (someone correct me if I'm wrong please).  I just thought maybe someone would have encountered this problem on a similar install and knew how exactly to do an install so it is connected properly with the high beam switch.

If nothing else, for future foglight installations beware of K2Motors and their kits.  They sell on ebay as well as at www.k2motor.com .  I sent a total of 8 messages in the last week.  Absolutely not one single response from them.  I did a google of them and "complaints" and found a number of forums talking about poor customer service.  I'll have to post in the future as to how well the lights themselves fit... I'm waiting for slightly warmer/drier weather.
