Newbie here!, I have a 2003 Frontier XE 4x4 with the 3.3l V6. I recently discovered something that I'm not sure is right. I can turn my AC on and off fine when I'm using my standard vents. Now, when I turn the defroster on obviously the compressor turn on and works fine as well. Now here is what I'm not sure about. When I turn the defroster dial off and back to the standard vents the AC is on even with the AC button off. The only way to turn the AC compressor off at this point is to turn the truck off and turn it back on. So after I'm done with the defroster the only way to turn the AC off is to turn the truck off? The AC button has no effect at that point. However it works fine until you turn the defroster on. Any ideas? Thanks
