Hi all,     This is my first post.  I have several issues to ask about.

2005 Frontier SE V6 2WD 6speed manual

- My dog has destroyed the vinyl that tops the center console, and has broken off the rear cup holder.  Any info on where to get replacement console?  it is a tan interior. i thought about a junkyard, but I've been unsuccessful finding a match

- Fuel gauge not functioning.  I disconnected the battery hoping that it would simply reset, no luck.  thoughts?

..

I seen/heard of dogs totally destroying automotive interiors at a couple of thousand dollars… count your blessings.

There was once a recall on first Gen Frontiers for the electrical connection on the fuel tank… check it out.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

I`m a michlin man for tires that see 80% paved roads. If you are in the market for tires look at were you drive it and how you use your truck. Do you tow a lot with your truck if yes maybe an LT tire you should buy if you don`t tow that much at all a regular P tire should be fine. I run michlin LT265/75/16 LTX/MS on mine I run LT`s on mine because of the side work I did for a while. Here are a few tires I heard good about from other people Nitto,Cooper,Kumho and hankook. now to GOODYEAR tires click on to the joke section for that one

My truck came with nearly new Wild Country tires.  I've never heard of that before, and apparently they're hard to find, but I drive a lot of highway and they are a nice, comfortable tire.  The only downside is wet traction is a little iffy.

When I get new tires, I will likely go with General's, I've had good experiences with them in the past, and they always get good reviews.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General& ;tireModel=Grabber+HTS&vehicleSearch=true&partnum=37 TR5GRHTSOWL&fromCompare1=yes&place=13&speed_rati ng=S&speed_rating=T&speed_rating=U&speed_rating= H&speed_rating=V&speed_rating=Z&speed_rating=W&a mp;speed_rating=Y&speed_rating=(Y)&load_rating=S& ;load_rating=RF&load_rating=XL&load_rating=C&loa d_rating=D&load_rating=E&load_rating=F&load_rati ng=G&minSpeedRating=S

These are actually the top rated at TireRack, and I think they come in a few different load ratings.

..

I've had General ATs, GoodyearATs, Bridgestone D-Dualers, and BFG ATs.

Had sidewall punchers with Goodyear ATs and Bridgestone D-Dualers. The Goodyears that came on our Grand Chrokee did pretty good.

My fav is the BFG ATs with the TriGuard sidewalls. A very good tire on the highway and off road on the sharp rocks in the Colorado mountains.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..
