I bought a 98 Frontier with 183k. It seems to have had decent maintenence, but I would like to do a few things like change the spark plugs. Anything else I should be doing?

maybe air filter, oil change, and inspect the brakes?
Did it pass smog with flying colors? (Not sure about other states but in Calif any vehicle change of ownership requires a smog inspection)
