Here's a wierd one. I have a 2004 4x4 supercharged with about 58k on it and automatic transmission. The 4x4 indicator light stays on even when NOT in 4x4. When I shift to from 2hi to 4hi the light "brightens" as normal but when I go back to 2hi it just dims and does NOT go out. I move in reverse for about 3 feet to unlock the hubs and I can hear it unlock but the light is still on but dim.

Any ideas.

Check to see if the wires are chafed in the harness and touching. Be very carefull around the trans, the edges can be very sharp.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">
