..

vaketon;

Welcome to the group.

Please tell us the year model Frontier and if the engine is a 4 cylider or a 6 cylinder. Is the hose you changed the hose hooked to the top or bottom of the radiator?

Frontiers did not come from the factory with carburators. Can you take a picture and post it of the area that the part is missing so we can tell what it might be?...

Have a good one..  Don S..

yea its a 2001  6 cylinder   3.3 engine and i meand the catilyzers thats what its missing they were not working anymore so they took them off it seems also that where they took them off there might be little wholes  about 2 less the 1 cm you can bearly see them they tried welding it. and the hose is right next to the radiatro on the left and goes under and its connected on the right side about halfway down.

 my nissan frontier is missing the catalyzers  and where they took them  off it has about two little wholes less than 1 cm wide each .  i dont know if this could be the problem i also recently switched the pressure oil hose which was next to the radiator. when i drive off after a while it starts shaking mostly when i stop rarely when im acceleration and will only happen when im accelerating after it starts when i stop on stop sign or red light after a while it will not shift to 2nd  and eventually shut off.  same cycle happens.  the service engine soon came on i went to check it and he said it said it gave him a catalyzer error . please advise. thankyoU !
