i have a brand new fuel pump and when i go to start truck it will turn over and everything but will not fire! seems like a bad relay that controls the fuel pump or something. i am not getting a check engine light so i cannot get a code to show up. any ideas???

Google IPDM E/R and Titanspot will come up. There are a lot
of good pictures and info to lead you in the right
direction.

I am having a similar issue with my 2007 SE. intermittently will not fire when i go to start it, usually in the morning or after sitting at work for 8 hrs. takes me anywhere from 1-5 tries before it will fire. turns over with no problem. Sounds like an ECU issue. I found the fuse box thanks to the Titanspot link posted in this thread. I am assuming the titana nd fromntier IPDM box is the same config, so i can pull the fog light relay to slave in for the ECU relay?

This just recently happened to me I was really worried but it turns out to not be a big deal so far. After reading and researching it a bit the question is do I replace the whole IPDM or just the EMC relay because the fog light one is really just a temporary fix because it does not have the diode in it to protect from voltage spikes.

I bought a couple of ECU relays and changed it out but did not seem to help. Extremely intermittent. Will go away for a few weeks and then do it every day or every other day for weeks. Thinking it is the IPDM board itself. I am going to check a pick-a-part locally and see if they have one. Anyone know where I can get a new board if the used one does not work?

just an update since i havent posted for a long time

we just went through summer here and i did not have a starting problem all summer long so i can confidently say that my occasional  starting problem  will only happen due to extremely cold temperatures, in my case anyway!   any ideas appreciated thx

i think this case only happens if you are not religiously warming up your car or you often use it. this also happened to me i think 3 times this year but i did not even attempted to check the ecu relays. i just jumpstart my battery and everything went fine. when this is happening to me it really gets me worried because it may cause me to change battery, starter, etc etc. good thing mine is just a minor solution without having a need to buy nissan parts again.
