Hey guys and gals, fairly new lurker here, finally making a post!  I've searched around for an answer on the forums and didn't come across much, so I'll give it a try and ask away here.

Truck is an '05 Frontier 4x4 LE Crew/shortbox originally from Arizona, now residing in the frozen winter wasteland that is Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  In the last few days it got fairly colder than its been lately, and last night when I went out after about 5 minutes of driving the CEL came on.  No biggie I thought, as it's come on a few times here and there (usually coinciding with a fill up; what is with the fuel systems on these trucks anyways??) and so kept on to my destination.  A few hours later on the way home, after thet truck had warmed up I noticed that my oil pressure guage was acting like a tachometer; I know under normal throttle load the pressure guage may go up slightly to match the load being applied, but right now all I have to give is like 25-50% throttle and the pressure gauge goes right up to the highest hashmark on the guage.  In the warmer 3 seasons the needle will usually be steady at a little below halfway, even under highway passing throttle load.

Obviously, this is worrying as engine pressure, too much or too little, is never a good thing.  I bought an extended bumper to bumper warranty with the truck, and am just wondering if this should qualify as an "act now or else" type of repair.

Thoughts and ideas thanked in advance,

Chris

Have it scanned for codes, most likely P0463 fuel level
sensor. Sounds like the oil pressure sending unit may need
to be replaced.
