The belt came off on my truck and ws wondering how hard it is to do it diy. It is a 98 2wd 2.4. I know have to get the air fitler canister pipe off to get to the belt. Can i leave it off for a few days? Thanks

its not hard to do it your self. Take the duct work off and
loosen the idler pulley. Your new belt should slip right
on.

Its ok to run it without the belt for a few days if you
don't mind how extremely difficult it will be to steer at
slow speeds. Get ready for your arms to get a work out!

ALSO! GET GENUINE NISSAN BELTS! I've changed my belts a few
times and those are the only ones I can get that fit
properly and do not squeak.
