Hi!  I have a 2009 Frontier, bought new, and it has 30,000 miles.  Today as I was filling up my tank after the light came on, gas was overflowing out of my tank when I wasn't even halfway though fueling (I have an 18 gallon tank).  I quit trying to fuel after getting halfway full (9 gallons), and came home.  I looked up the issue on Google and found others talking about an EVAP issue, a built-up pressure issue, or an issue with the gas station having high flow pumps.  So then I tried going to another gas station to see if the same thing happened again.  I didn't get overflow, but I could only fill a gallon or so at a time before it stopped like it was full.  I quit after 6 gallons (still don't have a full tank), and when I attempted to start the truck, it didn't want to start.  It started on the third try, with the gauges on the dash throttling and remaining in their "off" positions and the dash lights being dim.  After a couple of seconds, the gauges went up to their normal positions, but my trip mileage got reset to 0.  And yes, I'm a girl, and I wish my dad had told me not to run down the tank until the light come on, because I'm figuring that I have something clogged because of that...I usually use the middle grade, but within the past 2 or 3 weeks, I started using the lower grade because it's getting so expensive.  I'm thinking that might be another reason for the bad stuff happening..  :/

Update: tried to turn it on this morning to take to the dealer and it didn't want to.  Battery going dead at same time as this fuel issue or related to it?

Sounds like the battery and or charging system needs to be
checked, also the vent control valve may be stuck closed
causing the refueling issue.
