Saddly...

There are a lot of things that can stop the A/C from being cold. Loss of refridgerant... pump bad.. clutch on pump bad.. electrical connector not conducting..  cooling coil dirty.. exspantion valve pluged.. blower motor bad.. and the controls on the dash might be bad. With out personal expierance it is not a do it yourself job for most people.

Good luck!  Don S..

hi there lakota i just have some question because i am a bit confuse with the terms because i am not really that knowledgeable in car related terms. my friend just told me i have to change the freon on my frontier so is he referring to the refrigerant? when replacing the refrigerant do i have to change something else? are there any parts that needs to be replace like evaporator, condenser? sorry for asking too much i am just budgeting my money. cheers! not really sure if i could afford it if there will be some Nissan parts to be replace aside from the refrigerant.

The refrigerant is called Freon (134) for short. For proper cooling it needs to be done by a pro TO GET proper amount and THE PUMP PRESSURE SET UP CORRECTLY. If your system is low on refrigerant some can be added. Your system should be checked for a leak. If there is a leak it could be any where in the system. The hoses are are the most likely.

Good Luck.. Don S..
