Hi,

The truck is an '02 4x4 v6 crewcab SE.

I have two issues that may or maynot be related.

1. THe truck does not turn over when I turn the key.
There is power getting to the started because when I
jumper the posts on the starter it spins. However it
doesn't engage the flywheel, just spins without the
jackshaft engaging. I checked all the fuses I could find
in relation to the starter and all are good.

2. I have no reverse lights and no power signal going to
the rear of the truck for the reverse lights.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike

#1 are you jumping the larger post on the starter or the
small solenoid terminal(this is the one you should be
jumping).(possible starter relay)
#2 auto or manual trans??????

#1 I will have to check. I believe I am jumping the posts
on the solenoid. When I look at the manual, the part that
has the posts on it that I am jumping is called the
Magnetic Switch assembly.

#2 THe truck is automatic,

Thanks
