2001 nissan frontier, 6 cyl, automatic, 4 wheel, runs good, 135,000 miles. When warm, starts rough, onboard computer says misfire cyl 6, have replaced spark plugs yesterday, they were toast, purs like kitten except for rough idle at warm start up, lasts for 30 secs and then smooths out. Cannot afford to replace everything. Any help appreciated. Email me if you wish, Mike Magoo at captainmagazine@yahoo.com. Could it be a vacum leak?. Please help. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Mike Magoo, <---- Rough Idle for now LoL

Spray the plug wire with water to duplicate the concern or
run engine in the dark to see if the plug wire is shorting
to ground. Highly suggest NISSAN plug wires as opposed to
after market.

Rough Idle at start up turned out to be dirty fuel injectors. Used on small bottle of best injector cleaner with full tank, problem went away for good after using about half a tank of gas. I use one bottle of injector cleaner every year or two, but have found the hard way, that I do not change my air filter as often as I should. The slightest greyish look to the filter and it should be changed. I live in the Palm Springs area, so we get a lot of high wind and dust. If you live in this type of area, it would be wise to check and change the air filter often.
