I need your help. I recently move to Delaware they
they require an emissions test.
I have a 2004 Nissan Frontier 4 cyl, 5 speed with 74k
miles and it runs great.
I took it in to get tested and he said that my SES
light isn't coming on (which it should when you turn
the ignition to the on position without starting the
car). He even pulled a code (P0420 I think). I reset
the light, but it simply doesn't come on, EVER. I
fail unless the light comes on initially.
I bought the car from a used dealer about a year ago.
I don't know if someone disabled the light, or it
truly broke.
What could the problem be? Is there an easy fix to
this problem?

Sorry I can't be of much help...
If it's a light or LED I start by looking at connections and bulbs.
This day and age it can be a key switch or even be a computer problem...
Good luck.. Don S..
