Can anyone identify which hose is in the pictures
below? I was having problems with power steering fluid
leaking like crazy and when I investigated I found one
end of this hose (coming off the pump and heading back
to reservoir) was cracked and coated in fluid (so was
the hose running to the radiator directly underneath
it from this dripping on it). So, I pulled this hose
off and went to O'Reilly, AutoZone and Advanced Auto
Parts and none of their listed power steering hoses
were like this one. I had one of them order one that
wasn't in stock because the picture looked right, but
when it arrived it was clearly wrong (different shape
and wrong ID and OD). So, I put new hose clamps on the
hose and reinstalled it as hopefully a short term fix,
but I'd like to get the right hose and replace it. I
have the 4-cyl engine (2000 XE 2WD if that matters).

Anyone else run into this or perhaps have the part
number for this or even know what it's called?
Unfortunately, I don't have a Haynes or other manual
for this truck (stores were out of those, too..)
Thanks in advance for any advice.

EDIT: Sorry. New to forum. I uploaded the photos but
I'm not sure where they went. I went to the photo
gallery and didn't see my username either... strange.
I made an imgur
gallery
.

Arxe,

Nissan should have the hose, but apparently you want to save money.  So get the part # from Nissan,, then put that part # on Ebay Search,, and see what pop's up.  Sometime's you can get part's by part # on Ebay, or if not,, you may be able to get the part from Rock Auto,, or another Nissan Dealer that Sell's parts on Ebay or Amazon as well.

I'm getting a lot more part's on Ebay now,  as well as Amazon and able to save quiet a bit of money.

Oh,, You can download the Service Manual Online.  Just google and you'll find a link to the Service Manual Download.

Good Luck

Welcome to the group!
A few years ago the site reduced the size of photos allowed in the galleries.
A few people were posting huge photos trying to wipe out the storage space in cyber space.

Photos don't have to be as sharp for Internet work as cameras will take these days
The uploader should have told you the pictures were to large and the max size... Somewhere around 400 pixels wide.
   Thanks Rubble for posting!

Good Luck.. Don S..
