there's a piece of roof drip molding on the back of the roof of my 2018
frontier that has fallen off. I can't quite tell what held it on in the first
place and don't want to just glue it on. I was wondering if anyone else
has had experience repairing this.

Bama,

They used Sticky Tape to secure it from the getgo.

Mine came loose on the Driver's side, and they glued it
back on under warranty.

If it come's undone again, I'll clean the area with wax
remover and Reglue it with something better. I might use
Loctite Ultra Gel Super Glue, but if I use that stuff,
it'll pull the paint off, if I need to remove it.

Regards,

Thanks for the reply! You touched on my exact concern. I need to find
something to keep it stuck to the roof that doesn't stick it on there too
permanently. I can handle that.

Bama,

I like Acrylic Latex Chalk. I may use that if/when mine
come's undone again. It is available in Clear, but it
goe's on White and Change's Color when the Sun hit's it.

The Trick is to get everything Clean before useing the New
Glue. Make sure what you clean the Plastic with won't melt
the soft plastic.

Regards,
