Well finnally decided on my leveling/lift.

With help from Greg at PRG, I'm gettin Bilstein 5100 series shocks on the front with 2" spacers and on the rear Bilstein 5125 series shocks with 2" deavers leafs.

Can't wait.

post some pictures if your able to after you get it done. im trying to decide between the prg leveling kit and the ready lift for my 08 Crew Cab. im wanting to go with the 2'' spacers in the front then 1.5'' on the rear. is the ride supposed to be better with the bilstein shocks on it?? what about the leafs on the rear?? sorry for so many questions, im just ready to throw a lift on my truck.

From researching and talkin with Greg at PRG, the Bilsteins would be an upgrade over stock shocks and give a better ride.  I was thinking of ready lift also, but since I tow a boat, the extended shackles are not recommended.  I got the leafs on the rear for the towing also.  I'm waiting for the lift  package from PRG and will let you know when I get the lift done.

anybody seen the 2.5" lift from revtek? it uses a rear block set up instead of the extended shackles. ive been leaning a little more to that one now instead of the prg and ready lift.

I do not know much bout the revtek lift but I know of on guy running a daystar spacer lift with blocks in the back he says you should run the the 5125 shocks in the back cause of the length and vaving of the shocks to help U offroading

sweet. yeah i had already planned on getting the 5125's for the rear. ive looked at the daystar one also, hard decision on which one to go with. im still gonna go a little more research on them until i make the final decsion. im gonna get the tires i want first that way i dont look like a jackass rolling around with a lift and still have the stock tires on the truck. ha

I wouldnt worry about riding around with stock tires after you do the lift.  If you want to go with bigger tires, thats what you will have to do.  I just installed the PRG 2" front spacer lift and went with blocks in the back.  easy install and looks great.  Still running stock shocks in the rear.  I wasn't aware I had to switch.  Just installed 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers.  Looks awesome.  Some minor heat gun work on the inner fender liners is needed as they rub just a bit at one point.

yeah i may just leave the stock shocks on it. im leaning more towards the revtek leveling kit right now. im planning on 33's also. we'll see i guess.  i just like having everything ready for when i put the lift on it...as in tires and stuff. probably gonna leave the stock rims on it for awhile then switch to some aftermarket ones later on. and gw4416...did you try raising the shock level??
