<rough moderator voice>... Let's not get carried away boys. </rough moderator voice>.

Perhaps Spiffy1 only intends to blind some of those drivers that deserve to be blinded! The bad is when blinded the moth effect might happen and they will swerve and crash head-on into Spiffy1... God forbid!!!!!

Play nice and have a good one!.. Don S..

And why do I want so much lighting?  Sorry to stir up a topic of hate debate but I feel I must play the blinding game.
What gives you the right to endanger me, my children, my family, other innocent motorists who happen to get blinded when you and another self-centered, immature idiot get caught up in one of your mega-wattage pissing contests?Hmm?

Well put Vintage Racer.

I have not had a chance to outfit my new Fronty but on my old Toyota I ran a similar setup.  Two 130w Procomp lights and 80w/100w headlights.  That is 460w on high beam.  The driving lights were wired into the high beams so that the dimmer killed both at the same time.  I am very good about being quick to dim them for oncoming traffic at great distances so there is no hazard to others.  Up here in BC it is legal to have two 55w auxiliary lights (even on high beam) so clearly my setup was illegal.  That said I did a lot of remote highway driving at night and these lights saved me from more collisions with four legged pylons then I can count. When I read a post stating that someone needs more light I assume that the personal risk to the poster of NOT having that lighting is far greater than their hazard to others.  Unlike HID users aux lights are easily shut off and their presence alone does not equate to a negligent driver.

To answer the original question I ran that 460w as well as two stereo amps off the dinky 60amp alt without any issues.  I believe that Frontier's is 80amp.  Not the best scenario, true, and if you are looking to cut some wattage the 85w in the tiny stock auxiliary lights will definitely have the least output vs wattage.  The bulb just doesnt make much difference in a reflector that small.

The electrical system should be between 14.2 to 14.6 volts (at the battery) inversely proportional to temperature with the engine running at 2000 rpm or higher.

Cold <10 degrees F,   14.6 volts is normal
Hot > 80 degrees F,   14.2 volts is normal

These are the voltages inherent to a 6 cell flooded lead-acid battery and applies to all vehicles, battery backup systems, solar, telephone systems, etc.
Under voltage will result in battery sulfation and reduced life
over voltage will result in electrolyte loss, overheating and battery damage.
12 gauge wire is good for dual 100 watt lamps, use wire rated for at least 125 degrees C.  Industrial Wire and Cable or McMaster-Carr are good sources.

Use a high quality meter such as a Fluke.  The $10 Chinese meters are crap.

I have not got a chance to change. and that is true if the battery is heated a lot it might damage.
