do you have your starting problems after the truck sits for a long time or sits in the cold for a long time? because my truck will not start every once in a while but only when it has been sitting in extreme colf for a period of time same things as you describe it will crank and crank but just not fire

i too have replaced my ecm relay witha new one

and my problem still persists i talked to a supposed expert online at a site called just answer

he thinks that changing the whole ipdm itself will fix my problem he says occasionally these boards will only output half of the voltage as they are supposed to so around 6 volts maybe when the fuel pump and or starter wants 12 volts

he said it was the fuel pump circuit that didnt recieve the full 12 volts but maybe the starter circuit doesnt get the full voltage sometimes too

i dont know   i wanna make sure that replaceing the ipdm will fix my problem before i purchase it

i find it really sketchy that nissan has recalls for their ipdm for older vehicles and they get thousands of complaints from never vehicle owners but yet they wont include the newere vehicles in the recalls its like they use the same parts and expect the new one to work fine !!! hello are you serious we know and you know that it is a manufacturing error!

the only other thing i am wondering is that i have never once had a check engine light common and i believe that the ecm throws those codes, so i was kind of thinking that my ecm was bad, but then i thought if that was rthe case im pretty sure i would be having other issues as well

i have seen lots of complaints with ipdm and cars not starting but most of the other examples happen as a stall after car is warm then a no start

with mine my truck has never stalled on me

and when it is running it runs great

problem only happens when truck has had a cold soak!!!

anyways let me know what you think and if u have any ideas/soln

i will let you know if i find out anything else thanks man
