       | Been looking at some of the other
forums.  Some of the folks are ones I would prefer to
not deal with and some seem really nice.

Been reading through some of the builds they
have.  It is amazing.
 Some
really good info and it gives me ideas.  Most of them,
 I could care less about.

 Jim,

Yes I do the same; about reading the different
Frontier Forum's. Many time's I learn at least
something or have something that I think is important
Reinforced by somebody that I have learned a lot from.

One of those person's is SMJ, and also FrontierGuy here
 on this forum.

Actually I have to say that I have learned a Lot more
than I admit and also thing's that I've learned that
I've forgotten from reading the Frontier Forum's.

When I was much Younger I did a lot of Modding on my
1st Car and a little bit on the next few,, but as I got
older,, the modding gave forth to thing's that help
make the Vehicle last longer and more useful.

Over the Year's I've come to realize that Cheap
Universal Neoprene Seat Cover's pay off big time in
 keeping the
Seat's looking Nice; Floor Matt's, Steering Wheel
Cover, Bug Shield, Bed Liner, Frame Mount Receiver, and
Last but not Least is a UWS Aluminum Locking Tool Box
for the Bed. That's the way that i had the '93 set up
and I set the '13 up the same way, but also added SS
 Step Rail's on the '13.

After putting it all down on Paper i guess I lie'd
about slowing down on the Mod's.

Anyway I haven't done any more modding to the '13 since
 '13.

 I didn't know anything about the '05-'10 V6 AT
Frontier's that had trouble with the Radiator Leaking
Coolant into the ATF, and also the Timeing Chain's
wearing out the Timeing Chain Guide's in those year's
as well. So that's another Good reason to wait and see
about the bug's in the 3rd Gen Frontier.

Here hopeing You and Your Family don't have big
 problem's with Covid19.   I don't think that this Virus
was Dealt with in the USA very well.

 Regards,

 Jim,

One of the Thing's that I learned about on the '93
Hardbody that was my primary vehicle for 20 year's was
 Seat Cover's.

I put seat cover's on that Truck from the GETgo, and
wore out about 3 set's. Just before I sold it,, I took
off the Last Set of Seat Cover's and I was Astonished
that the Seat's still looked just like BRAND NEW! Not
 even Faded!

I like the Universal Fit Neoprene and the set I have on
 my '13 cost about 20 $'s. They are almost 7 year's old
now and still looking good, although I don't drive very
 much now.

I see a set of Universal Fit Neoprene on EBay that I
like for 29 $'s. I may go ahead and get them now, and
just hold them back till the one's on now start to wear
 out.

A Cheap Set of Universal Fit Neoprene Seat Cover's are
worth WAY more to me than the Seat Cover's Cost.

 Regards,

 | I have thought about them for sure.  I haven't looked yet.

My son's 05 was totaled, he saved the floor mats.  I put them in mine, black rubber or fabric was my choice.  The 05 mats fit really well.
 Seat covers, well.

 Jim,

Yea, Floor mat's are worth the money IMO,, as long as I
don't pay too much. Mine came with the Nissan Carpet
Mat's. I may go back with the Nissan Carpet Mat's or
the Rubber Nissan Mat's, or I may go with an
aftermarket custom fit,, but I don't much like the
WeatherTech's. I prefer Rubber over Plastic or
whatever the WeatherTech's are made of.

""I see a set of Universal Fit Neoprene on EBay that I

My memory was wrong on that one; I had saved them on
Amazon, same price though. I went ahead and ordered
them, cause they had them in a Color that I liked. If
I wait till I need them,, they might not be available
in the color that I like.

I try to keep my Vehicle's as long as I can,, so it
make's sense to me protect the Wear Area's, as long as
 I don't spend too much.

 Regards,

 Hey Jim,

You are Right, not much Traffic, but when somebody
needs help I try to help, If I think I know enough.

Just got my Backup set of Seat Cover's from Amazon and
although It will be a While before I need to replace
the set that I have on the '13, these look good quality
and have some thickness to the Neoprene. They also say
WaterProof on the Package and that's GOOD.

 https://www.amazon.com/TLH-Neoprene-Covers-Compatible-
 Color-Universal/dp/B07YH2HLLG/ref=sr_1_1?
 dchild=1&keywords=B07YH2HLLG&qid=1585884853&sr=8-1

I try to be ProActive when I think I need to, and I
liked the Color which is not alway's the case if I wait
until I need them, and The Price Was Right.

I read your posting about Ham Radio, but that's
something that I never got into. Airplane's that's
 another Story.

 Regards,

 | We all have or "expensive hobbies", as my wife says.
I have only looked at seatcovers once or twice.
Do you know anybody with a dashcover?  FL do get hot in summer.
Inside LED's were super.  I got cheap ones from eBay.  4 of them for $7.

 Jim,

Yes it get's hot in Florida.

I use a Windshield shade to protect top of dash. It
also helps to keep inside cooler as well.

Truck's and Car's are getting more expensive as the
year's roll by. That Translate's into Everybody
keeping them longer and longer. I kept my last '93
 Truck 20 year's. Lot's of thing's determine how long
we are able to keep our Truck's, Collision's are at
 the Top of The List.  That '93 was in 2 Collision's;
One in the Rear and One in the Right Front. Rear was
about 700 $'s and Right Front was about 1800 $'s.
Fortunately I wasn't at Fault either time. Both were
Low Speed Impact's, but both could have been High Speed
 Impact's and Totaled that Truck.

Buyer's like the Seat's to look good and don't like to
buy Thread bare with Hole's in the Seat. It's one of
the First Thing's they look at before Sitting Down.

 Regards,
