see.. this is why i dont like new vehicals... on the old vg30e wireing... the purple wire on the ecu harness controles the speed limiter. to disconnect... just snip... it had no other connections to any other part of the system... of corse i soldered a connector clip to it so i could connect and disconnect at leasure... but i wish it was all still prevelant...

I agree, I do not care for the electronic throttle on the VQ engines. But I guess its another way for manufacturers and the government to protect us from ourselves.

come to think of it, on the ka24e 240sx, its governed at 115 in fifth only, if
you go back to fourth or just stay there its good til 125. That made for an interesting time. But i agree at 115 it was defiantly alot more scetchy than i
would want.
