My advice is to avoid the credit card entirely.  Save up and pay cash for the wheels.  It's amazing the kind of discounts you can get when you walk in with a few $100 bills.  Then don't be afraid to walk out and go somewhere else if they don't deal.

ok thats sounds good man thanks alot. i was wondering though, i do like the bigger meatballish tires, but i dont do enough off roading, its honestly a daily driver untill the weekend hits. so im looking for bigger tires just not something thats going to piss me off driving down the road, but something that will get me through a thick mud pit.

..

Andy4106;

Welcome to the group!

... BFG AT KO tires are not much noisier than the stock BFG long-trails and look a little more narly besides being a great tire. Many Dealerships and tire dealers have wheels and tire “take-offs” so check aroud and offer 20% less than they are asking for the wheels.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

Laws such as the use of corn ethanol are driving up the cost of living (have you been to the grocery store lately) without driving up wages. This equates to a lower standard of living (but not in China) thanks to Agro-lobbyists and corrupt and ill-informed lawmakers.

As long as you get a radial all terrain tire it should not be real bad on the
street.   If you start getting into the extreme or mud terrain tires you will
get more hum and what not.

example: this will be fine:

this is overkill (unless you wheel A LOT):
