Hi guys,

I'm getting my new (to me) 06 Frontier XE on Wednesday.  Never thought I'd buy anything else than a Tacoma, but I just couldn't get pass the fact that I was getting a lot more truck for the $ with the Nissan.  I'm aiming for 15 to 20 years.  My 90 Toyota had 18 years/ 470 000 km, so I hope to become the oldest member at one point in time.

I'll make sure I browse through the site to read about the ins and outs of the truck to avoid repeating the same subject over and over.

I like the forums where they keep it friendly. Looks like this one is leaning that way.

Stéphane, welcome. I'm new to the forum also. Just got a 2003 Frontier SC 4X4 Crew Cab.

There is allot of good info on here, but unfortunately not much activity, wish there was a little more participation. All the best with your new truck.

Yep, that's me on my 02 VFR during my Race course this summer.    One of the reason why I needed a new truck (the other got stolen). BTW nice paint lob on your fuel tank.

As for the truck, I'll drive it for a while, then decide on what I need.  I know I want to change the tires and wheels (maybe buy Nissan Mags from someone who bought aftermaket ones) and LT tires for when I go logging, so the truck doesn't move so much on the sidewalls. But this will have to wait until next fall.

Hi Stephane, Sorry to hear that your last truck was stolen. I think you will be pretty happy with your new truck. I have had great luck with all of my Nissans that I have owned thru the years.

I can see that you are already to start making it your own with some custom parts, be cautious, that can be addictive.

That's awesome you race bikes, you will have to post some race pics. Glad you like the paint on my bike, it gets allot of attention. Here is a full size pics of my chopper, although might not be your type of bike.

It's a common denominator trucks and bikes, isn't it?

Reaper, you're right, not my type of bike, BUT I sure can appreciate the craftsmanship put into it.   I  really dig the paint job, I've got to say.

Hey DarrenC, you do know that the red ones are faster, don't you?

 Thanks Stéphane,

When you get a chance, post some pics of your truck, and bike. Since you like my paint, here is a better pic of the tank.

True on both accounts. I like the attention my chopper gets much better
