Hello fellow frontier owners.  I have an 05 NISMO Crew Cab w/ 28k miles.  I bought it two months ago and love it.  Always had jeeps before but really liked what Nissan has been producing in the off-road and truck jaunres.

Two nights ago I hit a deer on the interstate at 70 mph and damaged the left front side of my NEW TRUCK!

On a good note I was very impressed with the way the truck took the impact and I was able to easily maintain control and get off the roadway.  I am still waiting on an estimate but I don't think it did any serious damage, mainly grill and bumper.  If anyone has had similar experiences, any advice or "heads up" info. would be appreciated.

Also I have been looking for a bed mount tool box, the best I have found is an OEM box that mounts to the utili-track.  Anyone find any other good tool box fits that are less expensive, the OEM box is $530.

Also, my truck came with a snap-type tonneau cover that I took off.  I will be posting an add for it if anyone is interested.

Thanks, John Hendley

Danny here UWS made the box I have and its stong as hell my 300 pound self can stand on it no flex . one thing to tell ya get a low profile one if u can saves a lot of room and when you use your cargo lite it won`t shine back in on you. Welcome to the group BTW that plastic front peice above the front bumber was the most expensive piece and a 3-4 week wait for my buddies NISMO
