since no one anwsers on the other post about it i will start a different one. my friend has a 2000 nissan frontier and just installed a cd player in it. after the install cd player work but on the way home the blinkers wouldnt work. but the hassards still do im cant figure it out so any help would be great. i see alot of people on these forums have that problem but cant find any anwsers on how to fix it.

Its weird that the hazards work and not the blinkers. I know on my 04 i have to disconnect the hazard switch to remove and install the radio. If its disconnected the blinkers won't work. Check the connection on the hazard switch, make sure its tight.

thanks I can try that. But if it wasn't connected it hassards woulndnt work

Here's a good question, does the running lights still work?  Stock cd players light up (duh!) LOL, and when installing, or if not installed right it could ground out and blow the fuse for the running lights (exterior and dash lights)

far as i know all the other lights work fine just not the blinkers. cd player works fine to. no blown fuses that the first they checked. aslo they couldnt find anything unhooked

ok they got it fixed it was the hassard switch. thanks for the help. but how could the switch be bad but the hassards still worked dont make much sense
